It's probably dangerous on my part to say surprise me to any month of the year, but we only live once! I can't believe that the first half of the year is already gone. It's definitely had some memorable moments thus far and I hope to see many more before we close out 2021. How's the year going for you so far? Are you accomplishing what you wanted to? Is there something out there you're hoping to do before this year ends? Personally, I hope to get a vacation or two in before the snow flies. I have quite a few friends across the States I haven't been able to see because of Covid and would really like to catch up with soon.

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be working with Kylie's Fiction Addiction to work on getting more reviews for The Someday Series. The first book she will be promoting in her Facebook group is Fighting for Someday. While it's on tour with her group (July 11th - July 24th), I will be offering it for FREE again. This is a much smaller window of time. It is likely only going to be free from 20th to 25th, so mark your calendars if you haven't picked it up already. I will be doing the same thing for Waiting for Someday and Finding Our Someday when they're on tour. Once dates are finalized, I'll be sure to let everyone know to grab them while they are free.
I truly hope that readers end up grabbing this series and reviewing it. In the last several years, it's been harder and harder to get reviews for books. They are such a huge deal for authors in more ways than one and so important for us. There's not one author I know who doesn't appreciate a review. It doesn't matter if it is good or bad, we love to see them. Good reviews are always a joy to see and make me so happy that I'm able to bring others a little bit of joy with my words. I love the bad reviews just as much. They allow me to learn what resonates with my readers. Most of all, they help me learn the areas I need to improve on as I'm ALWAYS trying to improve my craft. So, if you're on the fence with dropping any sort of review, please do so! Authors love seeing them!
Hardback editions will be coming in August! My designer will be working on them at the end of July. I expect to have all six covers as well as the hardback cover for Taming J in my hands in the beginning of August. Everything is all set on Barnes and Noble for them to be published once I receive the updated cover file. I'll also be putting up an order form for people who would like to receive a signed copy from me. I'll be sure to make an announcement of when they will be live for purchase and the order form is available.
I've reached out to the two narrators I'd like to narrate for me. I'm hoping one will agree to the entire Secrets and Lies series and the other will agree to do both Bri and Trey's parts for the Someday Series. If we can come to a contractual agreement with the next week, I hope to see production go live for them some time in August. It is still a great hope of mine to release the audiobooks on Conflicted, Complicated, and Concealed at the end of this year, so I'm crossing my fingers it all works out in the next week.
Jennifer over at Greeff-iti Designs has been hard at work again in revamping all my teasers for the Secrets and Lies series. She's just wrapped up Conflicted and will be diving into Complicated and Concealed throughout the month of July. I'm just thrilled with what she's done so far and look forward to seeing how she changes up the others I've selected to have redone. Here's another one for you to check out! That's all I have for now! I have some writing to do and am very determined to get Jackson's series completed within the next several months. I can't wait for you all to get your hands on Jackson and Jenn's story. It's truly a beautiful one and different than anything I've written in the past.
