Life moves pretty fast! Make sure you slow down to enjoy it!

This is one line I will forever cherish from one of my all-time favorite movies. I find myself going back to this sentiment a lot more these days. I can't believe the summer is already half over. This month has been crazy busy and won't be slowing down any time soon. I think I need a Ferris Bueller day soon, if only to revisit some of my favorite places in Chicago. I'm so glad that I picked that city to set most of my work in. I've been there several times, but every time I go, I find something new to fall in love with there. Where is your favorite place to visit? Your favorite book settings or vacation destinations are welcome! I love adding new places to my bucket list.

If you haven't gone to see Black Widow yet, you need to do that like yesterday! It was by far one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I really enjoyed getting the backstory for Natasha and seeing how it is a pivotal part of the next phase for the MCU. I'm hoping to find time this weekend to decompress a little and finish watching Falcon and the Winter Solider as well as Loki. I can't wait to see how it all ties together and leads into Hawkeye, which was just announced to be releasing later this year!

Fighting for Someday is having a decent run on its review tour with Kylie's Fiction Addiction (https://www.facebook.com/groups/kyliesfictionaddiction). It's been FREE since July 11th and will remain so until July 25th. If you haven't grabbed it yet while it's free, do so now as this will be the very last time for a long while. Waiting for Someday starts its review tour July 25th to August 7th. While it is on its review tour run, it will be FREE during that two week span. I highly recommend grabbing it during that time period. I have no intention of making it free again after this tour so be sure to take advantage of the opportunity.

As mentioned in prior blogs, I've had the entire S&L series teasers redone. Jennifer at Greeff-iti Designs has done an amazing job at giving the whole series a facelift. It's also been fun for me to find some new lines to share with readers and to go back to where it all started, especially as I wrap up Taming J.

It's been seven years since I released Complicated. It's insane to believe that so much time has passed. Complicated is still probably one of my favorite books that I've written. It flowed so easily and so much at times that there was a lot of it that had to be cut. I'm excited to say that those deleted scenes will be part of the boxset. I'll have more details on the boxset in the months to come, so stay tuned!

If you're in my reader group MMK's Rockin' Divas (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1551613128496611) , we'll be having a publiversary celebration as well as a party for July birthdays. Be sure to come on out and join the celebration. There's also an awesome giveaway in my monthly newsletter. If you haven't subscribed to it, you can do so from the home page of my website. I highly recommend it. There's a monthly giveaway that runs in it and it's another great way to stay up to date on all of my latest updates.

I really can't believe Maximus turns one tomorrow. This year with him has flown by and I'd be lying if I didn't say that I have my days where I miss when Max fit between my wrist and elbow. We have our up and down days, but no matter what, he always makes me smile. I'll leave you with some of my favorite moments this past year with Monster Max!!
