Remember when...

Do ya'll remember when time seemed to move slower than molasses and you couldn't wait to grow up and do whatever you wanted instead of being stuck in a mundane schedule at school? Yeah, me too, and I miss those days. I'd give anything to have more hours in a day—just so I had more time to write alone. That doesn't even include the time I'd love to have for down time and spending quality time with my friends and family. I can't believe that October is almost half over and that the year is coming closer to an end.

As winter grows closer, I’m trying to spend as much time outside with the dogs because once the snow flies, we will be stuck inside for months. Last year, it wasn’t too big of a deal because Max was only a few months old, but this year is going to be a lot more interesting. I’m open to suggestions on how to get Max the exercise he needs this winter without dealing with freezing temperatures. Personally, I spend a lot of time on my treadmill during the winter, but I don’t think that will work for Monster Max. If you have ideas for indoor exercise for dogs that are super energetic, please share!

While I’m looking for advice, does anyone have any recommendations on how to make a TikTok video go viral? I’m getting better at creating them, but I have a long ways to go, so suggestions are welcome. I’ll admit that I’m not personally a fan of making videos of myself talking but that seems to be what garners the most attention, so I might have to give it a go. If you haven't checking out my TikTok page, you can do so here --> https://www.tiktok.com/@mmkoenig12?lang=en.

The reviews continue to trickle in for Fighting for Someday, Waiting for Someday, Finding Our Someday, and Conflicted through Kylie's Fiction Addiction's review tours. It's been awesome to see so many readers continue from the Someday series into the Secrets and Lies series. I cannot say express how grateful I am for people taking the time to leave a review. It's our bread and butter in so many ways, but it also helps us grow in our craft, which is something I'm constantly trying to do!

That's it for me this week. I'm likely to drop blogs down to twice a month while I try to play catch up on writing. I still have a tentative goal to finish my next rough draft by the end of February. I'm off now to shop for Wild tickets. I'd like to get to several games this season and plan to make that goal happen among many others for 2022!
