The temperatures in Minnesota have definitely approached their winter setting. We've been extremely lucky this last year when it comes to the weather, so I'm not trying to complain too much, but I wouldn't be a true Minnesotan if I didn't grumble a little. If anything, I'd love a few more warmer days just so I could walk Max outside some more. A one-year-old puppy is no joke! He needs to be entertained 24/7 and I didn't realize how much our walking time in the evenings did that for him. I'd like to think I could train him to walk on a treadmill (it's seriously a thing so don't laugh!), but our attempts so far have ended in disaster. If you have any tips on keeping your hyper dog's attention and curb his energy, sound off below! I'm totally open to suggestions!
Speaking of being stuck inside, it's a great time to discover your next book boyfriend. One of the things I love about the Someday Series and Secrets and Lies Series is that there are a lot of alphas to go around and fall in love with! If you haven't met Ethan, Jackson, Trey, Micah, or Shane, there's no better time than right now! The Someday Series is on sale with all three books being priced at $0.99! Go back to the very beginning and find out just how hard Trey and Bri worked to get to their HEA! Once you finish their series, jump right into the Secrets and Lies Series. It picks up right where Finding Our Someday leaves off and will take you on a ride that will leave you breathless until the very final pages! Mia and Ethan's journey is one you don't want to miss out on!
I've tweaked the online store and will continue to do so until I find my footing with it. I honestly created it out of fun and for people who want to purchase signed books and swag outside of when I give them away in my group, author page, or takeovers. I will be reducing the amount of giveaways I do in 2022 on all platforms, but that's why I want to have the store up and running. If you have suggestions for additions or changes, I'm all ears. All I want to do is give as much as I can to my readers!
The review tours for all six books are coming to an end with Concealed hitting its final round this week. It's honestly been so wonderful to see people jump at the chance to review my books. I've loved seeing the reviews come in and grateful beyond words for everyone who has signed up for it and all the readers outside of the tour who have taken a moment to share their thoughts on my books. It means so much to an author's livelihood and I'll be forever grateful for every review!
The Secrets and Lies Box Set and Audiobooks will be released on February 14, 2022, so mark your calendars! I'm thrilled to partner up with Give Me Book Promotions for a massive push on the box set and audiobooks for the Secrets and Lies series. This has been something I've wanted to do for years, so to see it finally come to fruition warms my heart. If you're a blogger or author and would be ever so kind to sign up for the event, you can do so here --> https://bit.ly/SecretsandLiesSeriesBoxSetEVENTS
I couldn't end a blog post without sharing a little something personal. October and November have been jammed packed with a lot of fun-filled weekends. I got to ride roller coasters with my favorite teenagers at Valleyscare. I took a ladies weekend with my bestie and her youngest featured in the photo above to grab some amazing food at Buca-di-Beppo, catch some much needed alone time in an amazing hotel, and watch The Eternals in luxury seating at the MOA. I've had just as much fun sticking around the area and enjoying some of our amazing local dining establishments on the weekends with my close friends and catching games for the kiddos as fall sports come to an end. Winter brings on the cold, but it also brings on a little bit more down time since it's ridiculously hard to get around in Minnesota during the winter months with all the snow and ice. I still plan to take at least one weekend get-away each month, but as 2022 rolls in, some of those trips will be out of state for signings. Long story short, there's a lot of exciting things coming in 2022 on the author front and personal front, so stay tuned. I'll be updating this blog monthly going forward and sending out a quarterly newsletter, but if you want to stay up to date as much as possible, I encourage you to join my reading group on Facebook --> https://www.facebook.com/groups/1551613128496611. That's fall for this month!
From my house to yours, Marley, Max, and I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and even better holiday season! Marley and Max encourage napping whenever you need to during the holidays!
